Workforce Business Partner

Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Workforce Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering the Workforce Strategy objectives and plans within the division;
  • Overseeing the production and analysis of workforce metrics, data and trend analysis to drive performance improvements and monitoring of the workforce plan;
  • Delivering an impact on staff engagement, health and wellbeing and retention through delivery of the workforce strategy and workforce plan;
  • Leading organisational change and development from a workforce perspective;
  • Ensuring positive outcomes with highly complex employee relations matters, preserving positive relationships wherever possible;
  • Leading a HR team to achieve the best outcomes for services and staff;
  • Providing expert advice and leading the managers throughout organisational change to achieve the best outcomes for the project, the affected staff and the organisation;
  • Building credibility with the senior management population and establishing effective relationships and networks to achieve results.
  • The ideal candidate will have:

  • CIPD qualification;
  • Specialist HR experience in developing strategy and workforce planning;
  • Evidence of leading organisational transformation and change models, including tendering and TUPE of staff;
  • Proven experience in dealing with complex employee relations issues to provide a range of people management solutions;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current NHS operational and workforce issues;
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Knowledge of Medical T&C is desirable.
