Soft Services Manager

Finegreen are supporting an NHS organisation in the North West to appoint a Soft Services Manager – Domestic Services.

The post will be for an interim period of 6 weeks initially bit is likely to extend, with an hourly rate of £29.53 inside IR35, through an Umbrella Solution.

The post holder will be responsible for leading the Domestic teams within the organisation organising and supervising the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Be the point of contact for the Domestic Services Team for any queries;

  • Up to date and full knowledge of the National Cleaning Standards;

  • Provide expert advice to clinical and corporate services on a range of service;

  • Lead on the continued development of the Domestic Services Department developing and maximising the use of existing technologies and systems that will enable the department to work more efficiently;

  • Meet the requirements of organisation’s policies and procedures, which will include the implementation of: - Fire Safety, Infection Control, Health & Safety at Work Act, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health [COSHH] Regulations, Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations, Information governance, Data Management and Manual Handling guidance and safe systems of work.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Evidence of continuing professional development;

  • Experience of successfully managing large numbers of Staff;

  • Experience in providing training/workshops to large groups.
