Recruitment Manager

Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS Trust who are looking to appoint a Recruitment Manager, for 6 months in the first instance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative recruitment and resourcing initiatives, plans and strategies to address current and future workforce challenges across the organisation;

  • Leading on the development of candidate attraction, recruitment, assessment and on-boarding processes, together with managing and developing the recruitment team;

  • Ensuring the delivery of consistent employer brand and attraction methods and communication materials to aid recruitment and attraction and support recruitment events;

  • Engaging with all staff networks and steering groups to ensure accessible and transparent recruitment and strategies to target under-represented staff groups;

  • Creating links with external organisations such as local schools, colleges, universities and employers to raise the profile of the organisation as an employer of choice and to build and manage candidate pipelines;

  • Contributing to the review, development and consultation on HR policies and procedures related to recruitment and resourcing;

  • Developing and implementing recruitment KPI’s and ensuring these are being monitored and met;

  • Overseeing the delivery of values-based recruitment and competency-based interviewing across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A CIPD qualification;

  • Significant experience of recruitment and resourcing within an NHS organisation;

  • ESR and TRAC knowledge;

  • An awareness and understanding of current resourcing challenges within the NHS, including national drivers to address these;

  • The ability to work with competing demands and cope with high volumes of in house recruitment;

  • The ability to lead and inspire others.
