Internal Communications Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for a creative and dynamic communications professional to join an established Communications and Engagement Team in a Healthcare provider in the South East. You will be integral to the success of the Communications and Engagement Strategy in supporting their workforce.

The organisation will interview ASAP and can start the successful candidate at the earliest convenience. They are looking for someone either on an interim or permanent basis with the opportunity for the interim to become permanent in due course.

 

Job Purpose:

The Internal Communications Manager will build positive relationships with internal stakeholders to help them define their communications needs and objectives, and ensuring their work and priorities are shared and celebrated internally by providing creative communications solutions to meet these needs, taking into consideration 'hard to reach' groups.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to seek out opportunities for imaginative communications campaigns which promote organisational values and behaviours.

  • Supporting the measurement and evaluation of internal communications activities and impact by gathering data and analytics. Present this insight to a range of stakeholders.

  • Ensure Group People Plans align to the organisational priorities and focus on good workforce planning principles which fully integrate with the annual planning cycle.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced within internal communications.

  • Confident collaborative working and excellent communication skills; and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
