Interim Corporate Governance Manager

Job Description

We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Corporate Governance Manager for a short term assignment.

The role will interview and start ASAP, will be for 3 months initially and will be at Band 7 regarding remuneration under the NHSI Agency capped rates.

Main Expectations/Key Deliverables for the role:

Providing high level support to the wider Trust corporate governance agenda, including supporting a number of Trust Board Committees;

Ensure that meetings are run effectively by managing the administrative arrangements that support the business of the Board Committees in accordance with their Terms of Reference liaising closely with the Chairs of the Committees.

Act as Secretary to the Board Committees, ensuring the provision of comprehensive administrative support and guidance, organising and attending meetings; ensuring minutes are of a high standard, receiving and distributing papers in a timely manner, and ensuring follow up action is taken.

Key Skills and Experience for the role:

Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge/ understanding of corporate and governance conduct principles, legislation and best practice;

Experience of minute taking at Board level;

Experience of working with Boards, and senior management teams.
