A new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Billing Manager on an interim basis. The role will be based on site, though hybrid working may be considered.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing strong and effective leadership to specific non-clinical teams;Ensuring delivery against all key targets and performance indicators;Analysing and reporting service level activity and access performance information for a range of audiences;Liaising with the Business Administration Manager on any areas of concern relating to activity and coding of performance;Contributing to the investigation of patient complaints to ensure that appropriate and timely responses are given and that trends are identified and remedial action taken;Managing own staffing budget, ensuring the optimum use of resources and establishing and maintaining effective management process to ensure financial control;Identifying and implementing cost improvements and explore revenue generation opportunities.The ideal candidate will have:
