Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of a senior Finance professional who is an expert in the field of Strategic Projects & Planning Accounting.
Job Purpose:
The appointed candidate will be responsible for providing senior finance input for large strategic capital projects and provide a key role in the financial planning process.
This role will provide line management support to the wider Projects and Capital team as well as involvement and oversight on the delivery of the operational capital programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing the finance requirements of significant and complex capital bids including the development of business cases for strategic projects.
Leading on the development of the Trust’s Long-Term Financial Planning Model, incorporating the financial impacts of strategic projects and latest planning submissions and actual financial performance.
Supporting on the development of the annual financial planning return and the development of the Trust’s five-year financial plan including the Trust’s five-year financial strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
CCAB qualified Accountant;
Holds in depth specialist knowledge of the National NHS context and NHS financial policies;
Demonstrated experience of Financial Planning, both long and short term and including the development of complex financial modelling information for Executive Teams;
A track record of achievement in other NHS or complex organisations.
