We are working with an NHS Trust who are seeking to appoint an Interim Service Unit Manager in the Breast Screening division. This role will be for 3 months and is based on site.
This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at a c£260 day rate.
Key responsibilities will include:
Continue to improve waiting times and establish effective monitoring systems, taking corrective action in conjunction with clinical staff;Assist in reviewing demand and capacity planning on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with local and national targets and continuous improvement;Ensure that medical staff rotas are adequate and take corrective action when required; Ensure that rotas are planned in advance;Actively engage in and lead ‘Communication Cells’ and use them as a catalyst to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement;Develop and support the deployment of standard operating procedures to reinforce the agreed standard ways of working. The ideal candidate will have:
