We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Senior Mental Health Practitioner/CAMHS Practitioner. This role will start ASAP and will be for 3 months initially.
The role will be at band 7 under the AfC NHSI Agency Capped rates and will be in the South Central region of the UK.
This role will sit within the Community CAMHS Teams and undertake comprehensive assessments of young people with mental health needs, risk assessment and management.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience as a Band 7, or equivalent, Mental Health professional;
Understanding and experience of working with children and young people with a wide range of mental health needs or relevant Mental Health experience;
Experience of and commitment to working in a multiagency setting working in partnership with a range of health, social care and education professionals;
Experience of working with young adults or young people or experience of working in a community setting;
Experience of care coordination/role of Lead Professional;
Ability to carry out assessments and psycho-social Interventions.
