Datix Systems Support Officer

Job Description

A NHS Trust based in London are looking for an interim manager that can help with Datix System Support. The role will be for 3 months initially with a potential 1 month extension. The role is to support the substantive Datix/Incident team in the Trust with on-boarding of new services and reporting to the Trust Datix/Incident Systems Manager.

They can be flexible around remote / on-site working.

  • Experience with Datix DCIQ: Developing, maintaining, and configuring the Datix System within an NHS environment. Experience with the DCIQ cloud version would be helpful.

  • LFPSE Implementation: Experience implementing LFPSE within the system would be advantageous.

  • Proactive and Efficient: Able to work independently at a fast pace within a small, busy team to deliver required work within agreed timeframes.

  • User Requirements and Configuration: Involves working with staff at all levels across the trust to better understand user requirements. Configure the system to meet the needs of the services, ensuring correct access levels and rights for all staff.

  • Training and Testing: Provide training to new users and carry out system testing to ensure it works as designed. Any concerns or defects should be raised with the system supplier.

  • Liaison with Datix Suppliers: Highlight any system performance issues and defects.

  • Progress Meetings: Attending progress meetings to keep stakeholders informed.

  • Project management: Experience planning and delivering IT and/or Datix projects to timelines and to meet requirements; and to draft regular progress reports ensuring appropriate escalation of exceptions.
