We are able to offer an exciting and challenging role for an experienced senior nursing professional to join our senior leadership team, leading on the development and delivery of our clinical strategy.

Prometheus is a leading provider of secure transportation solutions specialising in the mental health sector and Complex Care Enhanced Observations for Acute Trusts, Mental Health Services and Local Authorities. Our team ensures that patients are transported safely and with dignity, maintaining the highest standards of care. Offering a range of services to support NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, and Independent Providers, we have established strong client relationships and have a good pipeline of business which will see the business continue to push for market leader status within this industry.

The Head of Nursing and Education will lead and oversee the professional leadership, clinical governance, clinical management, training and development of our nursing teams, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality care. Working in partnership with colleagues you will play a key role in the development of mental health strategies, policies, and procedures within the organisation, as well as developing a robust nursing and training strategy. You will also be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and developing nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

As a suitable candidate you will be a registered Mental Health Nurse with in-depth knowledge of mental health services and clinical practice. You will have demonstrable leadership experience and a track record of clinical practice and/or quality improvement in acute inpatient, secure or community mental health services in the NHS or Independent Sector.
