Director of Quality Governance

Salary – circa £80,000

Routes Healthcare are an established and experienced provider of Enhanced Home Care, Complex Care, End of Life Care and Interim System Solutions. We manage a caseload of clients from across the Health and Social Care system and are commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities and the wider Health and Social Care system. Over the last three years, we have increased the homecare delivered into the communities we serve by over one million hours per year. We have budgeted growth this year with new services to be implemented.

We are now able to offer an exciting opportunity as Director of Quality Governance. Reporting to the CEO and working as part of the senior leadership team, the post will provide strategic direction and leadership that defines and promotes effective quality management systems and processes in order to drive quality improvements.

The postholder will support our Operational Delivery Teams to uphold the standards, and expected outcomes, in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies. They will also work closely with the wider leadership team to deliver high quality, safe and effective services.

As the CQC Nominated Individual, and as Routes Healthcare are part of the CQC Market Oversight Scheme, you will be responsible for the development, oversight and management of all regulated activity within the organisation, ensuring the services provide the correct quality, governance and processes to meet and to exceed CQC standards.

The Director of Quality Governance will take on accountability for ensuring the Registered and Service Managers are supported to comply with company policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements; striving to achieve 100% compliance on internal, external audits and working with the SMT to develop the strategy, business plans, policies and procedures to support the provision of the highest standards of care services to clients.
