We are able to offer an exciting and challenging role for a commercially minded healthcare manager, to join our ambitious and growing business in a key business development role.

Prometheus is a leading provider of secure transportation solutions specialising in the mental health sector and Complex Care Enhanced Observations for Acute Trusts, Mental Health Services and Local Authorities. Our team ensures that patients are transported safely and with dignity, maintaining the highest standards of care. Offering a range of services to support NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, and Independent Providers, we have established strong client relationships and have a good pipeline of business which will see the business continue to push for market leader status within this industry.

As Business Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in expanding our Secure Mental Health Transport and Complex Care services, with a focus on Right Care, Right Person agenda. You will be responsible for driving growth within your region (South of England) by identifying new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and developing existing client relationships.

As a suitable candidate you will have held a previous commercial role within the healthcare sector, possibly as a Commissioner in the NHS, Local Authority or Business Development in the Independent healthcare sector. You will be highly motivated, with the ability to work in an autonomous role. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at a senior level. You will also have previous experience of leading contract negotiations and managing bids and tenders within the public sector.
