We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join an NHS Trust on an interim basis for 3 months, with an immediate start. This role is an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to provide high-level financial support and strategic insight within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic financial advisor to clinical and operational teams, ensuring robust financial management and decision-making.

• Lead on financial planning, forecasting, and budget management, ensuring alignment with NHS financial frameworks.

• Provide high-level financial analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Develop strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, translating complex financial data into meaningful insights.

• Support the development of business cases and financial models for service transformation projects.

• Ensure compliance with NHS financial policies, statutory reporting requirements, and governance frameworks.

• Lead on financial reporting, presenting clear and concise updates to senior management and board-level committees.

Person Specification:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with significant post-qualification experience in the NHS.

• Proven track record in financial leadership, business partnering, and strategic planning within a healthcare setting.

• Strong understanding of NHS financial regulations, reporting frameworks, and efficiency programmes.

• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, driving financial performance and service improvement.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

• Advanced IT skills, including Excel and NHS finance systems (e.g., Oracle, Business Intelligence tools).
