We are seeking an experienced Interim Deputy Finance Business Partner to join an NHS Trust on an interim basis for 3 months, with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical and business partnering skills to contribute to the financial management and strategic decision-making of a vital healthcare organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial advice, analysis, and support to operational teams and senior stakeholders.

• Assist in budget setting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure effective financial management.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical and operational teams, ensuring financial awareness and accountability.

• Support the production of financial reports, business cases, and cost improvement plans.

• Ensure compliance with NHS financial regulations and policies.

• Contribute to financial planning, efficiency programmes, and service improvement initiatives.

Person Specification:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent NHS finance experience.

• Strong understanding of NHS financial procedures, reporting, and business planning.

• Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering.

• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

• Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and financial systems.
