An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Acute NHS Trust in the East Midlands. About the Role
As a Consultant in Stroke Medicine, you will play a vital role in leading and developing stroke services across the Trust. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team working across acute and rehabilitation settings, with strong links to Neurology, Geriatrics, Acute and General Medicine.
You will contribute to hyperacute and acute stroke care, thrombolysis and thrombectomy pathways, and work closely with colleagues in therapy services, diagnostics, and community care to support integrated patient pathways.
Key Requirements
MRCP (UK) or equivalent
Clinical experience in Stroke Medicine
Additional experience in Acute Medicine, General Medicine, Neurology, or Geriatrics
NHS or UK hospital setting experience is essential
Full GMC registration with a license to practise Eligible for inclusion on the Specialist Register, or within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview.
