A new opportunity has arisen to work for a South East NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Temporary Staffing Manager.
The postholder will be responsible for the provision of an effective Temporary Staffing service that meets the requirements of the organisation. The role will involve a mix of on site and remote working.
Key responsibilities will include:
Overall management responsibility for the provision of an effective Temporary Staffing service that meets the requirements of the organisation;Providing overall management, direction and support for the Temporary Staffing team;Ensuring that systems, policies and procedures are in place for the provision of Bank and agency staff in all areas;Ensuring governance and quality standards are met in relation to the use of temporary staff across the Trust;Working closely with clinical staff and managers to ensure that effective systems and processes for the use and booking of temporary staff are embedded into practice throughout the organisation;Providing professional advice and guidance in relation to the performance management of Bank staff, including professional development, absence management and disciplinary and conduct issues;Assuming responsibility for ensuring that a robust system of pre-employment checks is in place, with appropriate checklists in place prior to confirmation of all bookings;Developing and expanding the internal Staff Bank to reduce spend on agency.The ideal candidate will have:
CIPD qualified;Previous experience in Temporary Staffing and Generalist HR;Up-to-date knowledge of governance and quality issues for temporary staff;Knowledge of NHS terms and conditions of service;Knowledge of records management, information governance and data protection standards;Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and persuading skills;Team management experience.If you are interested in the role, please send a copy of your updated CV to emma.peel@finegreen.co.uk along with your availability.
