A new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Senior People Advisor, for 3 months in the first instance. This will be a generalist HR role responsible for providing HR support to the specified Division.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing high quality advice and support to managers that supports the effective interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures and enables the effective management of the workforce;
Reviewing HR policies and procedures – including equality impact assessment, supporting implementation and measuring effectiveness;
Providing advice and support to managers to undertake investigations in accordance with policies and within relevant timescales;
Offering professional, HR expert advice, guidance and support to managers on the range of employment issues;
Providing line management to HR support staff as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have:
CIPD qualification;
Operational Human Resources experience within the NHS;
Experience of managing broad complex employee relations caseload;
Evidence of developing and implementing employment policies;
Strong in-depth knowledge and understanding of employment legislation.
