Senior People Advisor

Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Senior People Advisor, for 3 months in the first instance. This will be a generalist HR role responsible for providing HR support to the specified Division.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high quality advice and support to managers that supports the effective interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures and enables the effective management of the workforce;

  • Reviewing HR policies and procedures – including equality impact assessment, supporting implementation and measuring effectiveness;

  • Providing advice and support to managers to undertake investigations in accordance with policies and within relevant timescales;

  • Offering professional, HR expert advice, guidance and support to managers on the range of employment issues;

  • Providing line management to HR support staff as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CIPD qualification;

  • Operational Human Resources experience within the NHS;

  • Experience of managing broad complex employee relations caseload;

  • Evidence of developing and implementing employment policies;

  • Strong in-depth knowledge and understanding of employment legislation.
