An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Senior Business Intelligence Developer.
Key responsibilities will include:
Playing a pivotal role in transforming the way the data is used and insights are derived within the organisation to better inform care delivery;
Providing advanced technical knowledge across the range of the Business Intelligence infrastructure and systems in use, as well as developmental expertise;
Working with the BI team to develop tools which allow rapid access to information;
Helping lead the development of Business Intelligence solutions which provide a single, consistent and comprehensive view of OHFT’s performance;
Promoting the use of Business Intelligence tools and supporting and encouraging colleagues in how they can be used to improve services;
Providing expert technical advice and management support to more junior colleagues;
Providing and receiving highly multifaceted, sensitive or contentious information, as well as communicating IM&T technical issues to a wider range of internal and external staff guiding them to a particular course of action.
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrable knowledge of Data warehouse / database design (following Kimball methodology), testing, management and support including methods, approaches, standards, frameworks, and tools;
Advanced T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI would be beneficial;
Some experience/ exposure of SSAS multidimensional and tabular;
Experience with BI application tools (e.g., Qlikview, Power BI, Tableau);
Data analysis skills to interrogate interpret and present complex data.
