Quality and Compliance Manager

Job Description

We are working with a Private Healthcare organisation in the Northwest of the UK who are looking to appoint a Quality and Compliance Manager.

The role will be on an interim period of 2- 3 months with a salary of £40,000 to report directly into the Director of Quality.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting Operational Teams to uphold the standards and expected outcomes upholding CQC standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for audits, quality checks and monitoring of quality and compliance;

  • Understanding of best practice in quality and compliance that may potentially affect the business and take a leading role in how working practices are reviewed and amended;

  • Accountability for ensuring the Registered Managers are supported to comply with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve 100% compliance on internal and external audits;

  • Ensure that the operational teams have the tools, policies, procedures training and information to meet their regulatory and contractual obligations;

  • Monitoring reports to support with quality and governance;

  • Work in collaborative way with all other agencies and stakeholders including Commissioners, clients, families, colleagues and staff;

  • Support with CQC statutory notifications;

  • Comply with data protection and confidentiality legislation;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working within the NHS/a healthcare settings;

  • Extensive expertise within Clinical Governance, Quality and Compliance;

  • Up to date Knowledge with organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;

  • Excellent communication skills, able to offer training and guidance to staff and write detailed reports.
