  • Interim Outpatient Transformation Project Manager

  • Interim Flow and Discharge Improvement Manager

  • Interim UEC Improvement Manager

  • Interim Meds Project Manager

  • Theatre Efficiency Project Manager

These roles will be for 3 months.

Candidates must have significant experience of delivering Projects and programmes within the NHS to successful outcomes. The roles will start ASAP and as such, the client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

These are interim roles that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at a c£260 day rate.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of programme/project plans with agreed milestones and outcome KPI measures to achieve sustainable service improvement;

  • Responsible for motivating delivery teams and driving the projects, to develop and improve services;

  • Organise and administer associated meetings, keeping up-to-date action logs;

  • Effectively co-ordinate the programme/project and their dependencies/interfaces;

  • On a day to day basis report to, and be managed by, the relevant Programme Delivery Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise of leading and delivering transformation projects/programmes;

  • Professional project management training /qualification/experience;

  • Experience of working at a senior/corporate level within the NHS;

  • An awareness of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.

Dependent on the workstream you will also have:

  • Experience of OP transformation and elective/PBWL backlog reduction;

  • Specific experience in supporting UEC improvements;

  • Substantial knowledge of medicines;

  • Experience of HVLC and overall theatre efficiency and elective improvement within an Acute healthcare setting.
