Interim Programme Manager - Transformation

We are proud to be supporting a large healthcare organisation in the appointment of an interim Programme Manager for Transformation. The role will be supporting partners across the wider healthcare economy.

The post holder will be responsible for providing project and programme management support and expertise to support successful delivery and outcomes for the required portfolios.

This role will start ASAP and be for 3 months and can be expected to be remunerated at c£350 per day.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • The post holder will be required to communicate and provide highly complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;

  • Present highly complex information about projects, initiatives and services to a wide range of stakeholders;

  • Commit to working and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Support collaborative working across the regional footprint;

  • Assist with Freedom of Information requests, keep under review the framework and in accordance with the legislation;

  • Support procurement of scoping work on health services and resilience and translate outcomes into plans;

  • Responsible for matching the available budget for each workstream to the appropriate staff resources and projects and for ensuring that the budget breaks even;

  • Responsible for the day to day range of staff management matters;

  • Develop the acquisition, organisation, provision and use of knowledge and information;

  • Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, to quality standards and in a cost effective manner, adjusting plans as required;

  • To carry responsibility for developing policy and procedure in the area the job holder is currently working on at a point in time, including briefings, commissioning, business or resources.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Must have an understanding of current healthcare policy, specifically the vision and aims of the NHS, appreciate the implications of this on engagement;

  • Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems in relation to project or service delivery;

  • Abilities for financial and staff management.
