Interim Operations/Project Manager - Site Discharge

Job Description

We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Operations and Project Manager for Site Management and Discharge. This role will be for 3 months initially.

This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and will start ASAP.

Hybrid working available for this assignment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the operational teams with service improvements across Site Management and Flow and Discharge including Urgent Care;

  • Project management lead aimed at improving the services;

  • Lead and demonstrate the ability to deliver against key performance targets;

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining performance management systems to ensure the effective and efficient use of all resources in order to achieve the organisation’s objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educated to degree level;

  • Managerial experience at Band 8a level as a minimum;

  • Credible and proven track record of managing operational services within an Acute Setting;

  • Experience managing any of the following: Patient Flow, ED and/or Urgent Care, Discharge and LOS;

  • Project Management experience within the NHS.
