Interim Improvement Lead

An interesting and challenging opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Operational Improvement Lead for Mental Health Services for an NHS organisation in the South East.

As this is a key position within the organisation, candidates must have significant experience of Senior Operational Management and Leadership within Mental Health and/or Community Services.

The successful candidate will also have experience of delivering transformation, performance improvement and service improvement.

The role will start ASAP and be for 3 months, it will be remunerated under the Workforce Alliance Framework at c£530+ per day.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operational transformation and improvement across Mental Health and/or Community Services;

  • Work with and support the Divisional Operations Director/s to achieve organisational and service objectives;

  • Significant focus on operational recovery and performance improvement post pandemic;

  • Lead on service improvements to deliver sustainable and credible improvement outcomes;

  • Lead on projects and programmes to support the transformation and recovery agenda for the Division/s and organisation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience of leading services in the NHS and wider healthcare at this level;

  • Substantial expertise within Mental Health and/or Clinical Services;

  • Credible track record of project/programme management within the NHS.
