Interim Digital Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are working with an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Digital Delivery Manager. This role will be for 3 months initially, though could extend and is expected to be based onsite.

This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at c£220 per day.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility for leading and delivering on individual projects across the Digital Strategy while working with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure that milestones within the project plan are met;

  • The post holder will work in conjunction with the Head of Digital Delivery, IM&T leadership team, clinical leads and provider organisations;

  • The post holder will be part of a team that supports and influences the development and delivery of the Digital Strategy;

  • The post holder will use recognised project management tools and techniques such as Prince 2, Lean and Agile;

  • An understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement methodology will also be used in order to align to the CQI methodology;

  • The candidate will use tools to ensure that project milestones are delivered on time and to budget with expected outcomes monitored and achieved;

  • The use of detailed project implementation plans and other associated project governance, work stream reports, risks and issue logs will be required to aide this.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience Management qualification;

  • Extensive Information Governance experience within an NHS provider setting at Band 8a level;

  • Project management certification.
