Interim Business Manager - Medicine

Job Description

We are working with an NHS Trust who are seeking to appoint an Interim Business Manager to work within the Medical specialties division. The role is on an interim basis of 3 months initially with potential for hybrid working.

This is an interim role that falls under the Workforce Alliance Framework and should be expected to be remunerated at c£290 per day.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required;

  • Analyse very complex issues where material is conflicting and drawn from multiple sources;

  • Oversee team members to deliver requirements;

  • Oversee the administrative functions within the workstream;

  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider health sector, on a range of business sensitive issues;

  • Co-ordinate the workstreams business planning functions;

  • Engage and work effectively with key policy leads across all key working relationships, to address inter-dependencies and ensure alignment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree educated or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar management level.

  • Previous management experience within and Acute NHS provider setting ;

  • Experience creating strategic/operational reports at a very high level.
