Head of HR

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Head of HR. Fully remote working will be supported.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the development and implementation of innovative strategic interventions with demonstrable organisational benefit;

  • Leading and managing the HR and recruitment teams;

  • Effectively managing the HR team to provide all aspects of Operational HR, including Pay & Contracts, Sickness Absence management, Workforce Information, HR Systems Administration, Health and Wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Training and Management;

  • Developing partnership relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;

  • Championing and improving equalities, diversity and inclusion.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CIPD qualification;

  • Demonstrable experience in the NHS in a senior management capacity;

  • Expertise in HR, Workforce Information and Recruitment activity;

  • Evidence of developing strategies and complex reports;

  • Experience in managing national and local data information systems.
