Job Description

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a South East NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Head of Employee Services.

The postholder will be responsible for overseeing HR operational services and ensuring continuous improvement across a broad range of HR operational processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day management of the HR operational services including Employee Services, reward & benefits, and staff accommodation;

Overseeing the delivery of professional and expert solutions, providing advice, guidance and support for related policies, procedures, processes, and systems;

Ensuring the provision of an effective administrative, transactional and advisory service, including advice on the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of employment, Trust policies and current legislation;

Leading on a HR policy/guidance review;

Ensuring continuous improvement across a broad range of HR operational processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

A CIPD qualification;

Evidence of leading teams within an HR function;

Substantial experience of designing and delivering HR operational services;

Budgetary management experience;

Experience of delivering process improvement and change management;

Experience of policy development;

Knowledge of the NHS and current change management agenda;

Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and persuading skills.
