An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Fundraising Manager, for 3 months in the first instance. Full remote working will be supported.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering the medium-term strategy for fundraising with agreed targets and plans;Ensuring a high profile for the charity and ensuring that there is a high level of confidence in the fundraising function;Leading and managing the fundraising department, ensuring that staff are well trained and have clear objectives and targets to monitor performance;Attending the Charitable Funds Committee or Board Meetings, ensuring with accurate reporting and effective presentations when required;Developing detailed plans arising from the fundraising strategy to maximise fundraising potential from a range of income streams;Engaging with high profile individuals with influence, including MPs, local politicians, business leaders, the media and celebrities;Creating a compelling ‘case for support’ that ensures that potential donors have clarity of the need for funds and that these reflect the operational and clinical priorities of the organisation;Working collaboratively with the Communications Team to ensure a communications plan that supports and maximises all fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a similar fundraising management role in a large organisation;Proven knowledge and experience in communications, public engagement, public relations and marketing;Knowledge and understanding of working within the NHS, how it is organised and the political environment within which it operates;An understanding of the Fundraising Regulator guidance and the Code of Fundraising Practice.If you are interested in the role, please send a copy of your updated CV to emma.peel@finegreen.co.uk along with your availability.
