Estates Project Manager

Finegreen are currently working with a large healthcare organisation, looking for an experienced Capital Projects professional who has worked within healthcare estates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of complex high value Backlog Maintenance and estates minor works projects reporting into the Head of Capital Projects;

  • The post holder will be at the forefront of planning and implementation of the most significant backlog capital and other change management plans for the organisation requiring a specialist level of technical works and building knowledge, capital reporting, political awareness, customer focus and diplomacy;

  • The expectation is that the post holder will provide advice on all aspects of Backlog Maintenance, Capital Planning, Asset Management, Technical Training, Business Case Development, construction and consultancy procurement and technical planning matters to the estates team and senior managers in relation to backlog and minor works;

  • This role will require an innovative approach and regular contact with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure backlog maintenance projects are delivered in line with national and local planning policy, directives and Trust strategic plans and consistent with current best practice and statutory requirements.

Successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in a construction bias field, Building Services, Engineering etc.

  • Experience of working in the NHS in a Project management role;

  • Experience in managing major capital backlog maintenance projects minor works associated contracts.
