We are delighted to be supporting an NHS organisation with their recruitment for a Director of Finance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assuming responsibility for all matters relating to the financial leadership and financial performance of the organisation;
Ensuring the organisation implements a robust financial strategy and for ensuring that resources are effectively deployed and used to provide the best possible care for the population;
Providing financial leadership and influence to ensure that opportunities to drive improvements in population outcomes to drive innovation and achieve agreed deliverables;
Supporting the efficiency programme.
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified accountant with full membership and evidence of up-to-date continuing professional development;
Experience of providing financial leadership, mentorship, and professional development at a very senior level with demonstrable outcomes;
Extensive knowledge of health and care financial planning and budgeting at a board and/or system level.
