Corporate Governance Manager

Finegreen are currently working with a large NHS organisation who are looking to appoint a Corporate Governance Manager. This is an interim post for 3 – 6 months with a potentially opportunity to go permanent.

The hourly rate will be between £33.26 - £38.39, working inside IR35 (through an umbrella solution company). The role will require 1-2 days per week working in London on site and the rest working remotely.

The post holder must be able to work on own initiative, confident working remotely with excellent minute taking skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the needs of the Executive teams, Trust Boards and its committees;
  • Provide support to committees, ensuring that relevant items are on the agenda and that papers are written and delivered in time for publication to members at the time required by the committee schedule;
  • Provide Corporate Governance information and expertise for meetings and agendas;
  • Prepare and documents detailed minutes in agreed timeframes;
  • Experienced with NHS policies and procedures.
  • A successful candidate will have:

  • Must have experience working within the NHS/a healthcare setting;
  • Previous experience working within corporate governance in similar roles;
  • Proven experience of servicing high level committees;
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory governance and regulatory requirements of the organisation;
  • Proven experience taking detailed minutes;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and effective way to trustees and committee members, staff, and managers at all levels.
