Compliance Manager

Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting an NHS organisation with their recruitment for a Mandatory Training Compliance Manager, for 6 months with the possibility to go permanent.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Covering a specific programme to increase the compliance of training and appraisal at the Trust;

  • Developing and overseeing control systems to maintain and improve mandatory training requirements across the Trust;

  • Maintaining and improving mandatory training compliance figures across training subjects;

  • Evaluating the efficiency of current controls and improving on these;

  • Revising procedures, reports and supporting subject matter experts to maximise training compliance;

  • Working closely with subject matter experts, professional development leads, trainers and the Head of Risk Management to ensure that mandatory training needs are identified for all staff groups and that the mandatory training needs analysis is kept up to date.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of interpreting legislation and guidance relating to training and translating into local training plans;

  • Significant experience of identifying learning and development needs for different staff groups;

  • Experience of commissioning training and working with external suppliers;

  • Experience in a training/learning position providing advice to managers;

  • Knowledge of NHS mandatory training requirements or equivalent compliance related training environment;

  • Experience with Core Skills Training framework for Statutory and Mandatory Training;

  • Experience in MS Excel and report creator using pivot tables and used to working with large complex spreadsheets;

  • Governance process driven mindset.
