Communications and Engagement Lead

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Communications and Engagement Lead, to develop and implement a communications and engagement strategy for the EPR programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a communications and engagement strategy for the EPR Programme, as part of a wider digital Transformation programme;

  • Working closely with the internal EPR Programme project teams to coordinate an effective communications and engagement approach, and to build a best practice model;

  • Co-ordinating the delivery of engagement activity, using a range of communication and engagement methods to involve all stakeholder groups;

  • Developing and maintaining an accurate stakeholder engagement record, which can be used as a basis to develop targeted communications;

  • Providing leadership and advice for communications and engagement activities, managing the planning, coordination and facilitation of campaigns, events and roadshows;

  • Working with external communications agencies and graphic design teams in the production of effective communication campaigns and other communication events;

  • Leading on the production of a range of communication and engagement materials, briefings and summaries.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant proven experience at a senior level in a communications or public relations function within an NHS organisation;

  • Substantial experience working at a senior level on PAS/EPR implementations.
