A large NHS Trust are currently looking to appoint an Associate Director of Work, Health and Wellbeing. This post will need to be held by a registered nurse or AHP, due to holding overall line management responsibility for the Trusts Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services.
Lead the delivery and implementation of our Health and Wellbeing Strategy, building and agreeing a sustainable wellbeing offer for the Trust;
Manage the Health and Wellbeing Support Service providing proactive interventions to
individuals and teams and building psychological safety across the hospital’s sites; also management of satellite services that are in-house to the Trust;
Establish an evidence base to inform the ongoing delivery of the wellbeing strategy and to inform future development of the strategy and wider culture change;
Build on the existing work with partners to take a systemic organisational development approach to wellbeing across the Group, developing an antecedent approach to measuring the impact of our wellbeing interventions;
Developing a sustainable approach to wellbeing delivering the ambition of the wellbeing Strategy and securing future funding including business cases as and when required to support this;
Key member of the People Directorate senior team supporting the development of the People Strategy and delivery of the NHS People plan objectives by leadership on specific strategic objectives;
Produce regular progress reports and updates to the senior leadership team and
Trust Board as required.
Successful candidate will have:
Current registration to the NMC or HCPC, with additional qualifications around OH speciality;
Evidence of ongoing professional development to maintain up to date subject matter expertise;
Extensive experience at senior management level, in the management of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Departments, with multiple line reports.
