To cover a period of change this NHS Provider Trust based in the South Central region requires an Interim  Divisional Analyst for 3 to 6 months to help with demand.  Please see the details below:
Divisional Analyst (Urgent Care) - AfC Band 6

  • Additional capacity to meet growing demand for Urgent Care analysis that has outstripped current capacity
  • To be line managed by Senior Analyst covering urgent care
  • Main roles to cover
  • Running standard reports and processes as already designed
  • Straight forward ad-hoc queries from division or operational management (simple data extracts and totals or trends)
  • Supporting submission of standard national returns
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support queries raised from various routes


  • The Trust hold most data in SQL tables and report in Business objects and Excel but are trying to move to SSRS as a more common vehicle. Knowledge of how to effectively get data from SQL tables and produce analysis in Excel is vital
  • Good knowledge of NHS provider data and definitions relating to urgent care (SITREPS, admitted patients, outpatients for urgent care specialties)
  • Ability to clearly identify aim behind requests and support customers in clarifying their aim and how to best achieve if not clear
